USA Today: ACC Jumps at Chance to Bring Tournament to Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The ACC and Atlantic 10 will be sharing Barclays Center as the host of its postseason tournaments in the coming years.

On Wednesday, Barclays Center announced a two-year agreement with the ACC for 2017-18, and an extension with the Atlantic 10 that secures its tournament in the venue from 2019-21. (The A-10 will continue to hold its tournament here from 2015-16, as originally planned.)

It's no surprise the ACC is headed to the Big Apple. Since adding new members Syracuse, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame, coaches and league officials have spoken publicly about the desire to host events in New York City.
