The Killers to Perform at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, May 18
Jan 30, 2013BROOKLYN (January 30, 2013) – Rock band The Killers will play at Barclays Center on Saturday, May 18 at 8 p.m. The Las Vegas-based four-piece have sold more than 16 million albums worldwide and are touring in support of their 2012 album Battle Born.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased via Ticketmaster by visiting www.barclayscenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets are also available at the American Express Box Office at Barclays Center, located at 620 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn starting Saturday, Feb. 2 at Noon.
Founded in 2001, The Killers consist of Brandon Flowers (lead vocals, keyboards), Dave Keuning (guitar, backing vocals), Mark Stoermer (bass, backing vocals), and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (drums, percussion). The band won an international following with their 2004 debut album Hot Fuss, which featured hits ‘Somebody Told Me,’ ‘Mr. Brightside,’ and ‘All These Things That I’ve Done.’ Since its debut album, The Killers have released the albums Sam’s Town (2006), Day & Age (2008), and Battle Born (2012).

As with all events at Barclays Center, arena staff will work closely with the MTA to coordinate mass transit to and from the arena and with the NYPD and other City agencies to ensure safety and security procedures are strictly followed and enforced.
