R&B star John Legend to perform first concert in Cushman & Wakefield Theatre at Barclays Center

BROOKLYN – John Legend, the nine-time Grammy Award-winning R&B superstar, will be the first artist to perform in concert at Cushman & Wakefield Theater at Barclays Center, an intimate setting within the new sports and entertainment venue in Brooklyn. Legend will inaugurate the Cushman & Wakefield Theater on Monday, October 29 at 8 p.m.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, August 17 at noon. Tickets for the shows will be available through Ticketmaster by visiting www.barclayscenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.

As a Founding Partner of Barclays Center, Cushman & Wakefield (the world’s largest privately held real estate services firm) receives entitlement to the theater, which will offer between 4,000 and 6,000 seats depending on the specific show. With a proscenium curtaining system, Cushman & Wakefield Theater takes on its own unique feel for its guests. The more intimate setting is a perfect alternative for select events such as theatrical performances, concert artists, music festivals, boxing events, and comedy acts.

As with all events at Barclays Center, arena staff will work closely with the MTA to coordinate mass transit to and from the arena based on the event and with NYPD and other City agencies to ensure safety and security procedures are strictly followed and enforced.
