MEDIA INVITED TO TOUR NEW YORK ISLANDERS CAMPUS AT BARCLAYS CENTER ON JULY 8 AT 5:45 P.M.

BROOKLYN (July 7, 2015) – Media are invited to tour the New York Islanders campus at Barclays Center prior to the team’s Blue and White Scrimmage on July 8 at 5:45 p.m. Game time is 7 p.m. The new facilities are currently under construction and are scheduled to be completed in August 2015.

The tour will be led by Garth Snow, General Manager of the New York Islanders, and Steve Rosebrook, General Manager of Barclays Center.

The 10,000 square-foot campus will include the Islanders’ oval shaped locker room, players’ lounge and dining area, treatment and training room, coaches’ suite, fitness facilities, game video screening room, therapeutic cold tubs, state-of-the-art technology and other amenities.
