JANET JACKSON TO BRING STATE OF THE WORLD TOUR TO BARCLAYS CENTER ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15

BROOKLYN (May 2, 2017) – Global music icon, GRAMMY® Award-winning and multi-platinum selling artist, Janet Jackson, will bring her State of the World tour to Barclays Center on Wednesday, November 15.

Tickets to the show go on sale Friday, May 5 at noon and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com and barclayscenter.com, or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets can also be purchased at the American Express Box Office starting Saturday, May 6 at noon (if tickets are still available). Tickets for Janet’s performance previously scheduled at Barclays Center on August 15, 2016 will be valid for this new concert date of November 15, 2017. The legendary entertainer began her sold out Unbreakable tour in August 2015, but just one year ago she reached out directly to fans via Twitter with news that she would focus on starting a family, confirmed months later with the arrival of her first child.  Since then, she has taken the past year to enjoy pregnancy and motherhood, and is now ready to return to the live stage to give Janet fans everything they could hope for in one epic concert event.  The State of the World tour is a continuation of the Unbreakable tour and will include fan favorites from her chart-topping ‘Unbreakable’ album, an array of her socially conscious music she’s released throughout her career, and other smash hits and soon-to-be released new tracks with a state of the art live production.
