Barclays Center to Live Stream BROOKLYN HOOPS™ Holiday Invitational

BROOKLYN (Dec. 21, 2012) – For the first time ever, Barclays Center will provide a live video stream of a sporting event when it hosts the BROOKLYN HOOPS™ Holiday Invitational, a men’s college basketball event TOMORROW, Dec. 22. BROOKLYN HOOPS™ Holiday Invitational presented by Muscle Milk will feature Tulane vs. Hofstra at 3 p.m., South Carolina vs. Manhattan at 5:30 p.m., and Seton Hall vs. LIU Brooklyn at 8 p.m.

Fans can go to barclayscenter.com to watch the free live stream, provided by NeuLion, Inc. , an Internet video technology provider delivering live and on-demand content to any Internet-enabled device. The live stream will feature HD video, live DVR controls, and the ability to watch on demand.

The BROOKLYN HOOPS™ Holiday Invitational will close the 2012 college basketball schedule at Barclays Center. College basketball at Barclays Center will continue in 2013 with the LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds hosting three home games at Barclays Center between January and February. LIU Brooklyn will play the Mountaineers from Mt. St. Mary’s on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 12 p.m., in a doubleheader featuring both the men’s and women’s basketball teams. On Sunday, Feb. 10 at 12 p.m., LIU Brooklyn’s men’s team will take on St. Francis (Brooklyn) in the Battle of Brooklyn. The always competitive Atlantic 10 Tournament comes to Barclays Center from March 14-17. The Tournament is being held for the first time in the metropolitan New York area. In addition, Barclays Center will host the A-10 Conference Women’s Basketball Championship game on Saturday, March 16.
