BARCLAYS CENTER STRIKES MULTI-YEAR BUSINESS ALLIANCE WITH ROC NATION MUSIC

BROOKLYN (July 16, 2015) – Barclays Center and Roc Nation Music have collaborated on a multi-year business alliance that will provide dynamic content for Barclays Center, including RocNation artist performances, festivals, TIDAL events, and emerging artist showcases. JAY Z will perform annually at the venue.

“We’ve been fortunate that many of Roc Nation’s top artists, such as JAY, Rihanna, and Kanye West have performed at Barclays Center and this alliance only further solidifies our great relationship,” said Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark. “We’re thrilled to continue to bring exciting entertainment to Brooklyn and are proud that Roc Nation Music is calling Barclays Center home.”

Roc Nation Music services a diverse roster of critically acclaimed recording artists, writers, and producers, many of whom have performed at Barclays Center, including Capital Cities, Haim, Big Sean, J. Cole, Rita Ora, Timbaland, and more.

On September 28, 2012, JAY Z performed the first of eight consecutive sold out shows to celebrate the opening of Barclays Center, unveiling the new Brooklyn Nets uniform on stage and marrying sports and entertainment in an unprecedented fashion.
