92.3 AMP RADIO PRESENTS “AMPLIFY 2015” FEATURING NE-YO IN CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD THEATER AT BARCLAYS CENTER ON SUNDAY, JUNE 14

ROOKLYN (April 27, 2015) – 92.3 AMP Radio presents AMPLIFY 2015 featuring NE-YO with special guests Ludacris and Cash Cash in Cushman & Wakefield Theater at Barclays Center on Sunday, June 14. AMPLIFY will be the station’s first major concert event in the New York City market since launching in May 2014. 

Tickets to the show go on sale Friday, May 1 at 12 p.m. and can be purchased online by visiting www.barclayscenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets can also be purchased at the American Express Box Office at Barclays Center beginning Saturday, May 2 at 12 p.m. (if tickets are still available).

GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, composer, producer, and actor NE-YO (born Shaffer C. Smith) is a talent sought by many artists. Not only does NE-YO have three #1 albums, more than 10 million albums sold worldwide and three GRAMMY®  Awards of his own, he has also written and produced chart-topping hits for today’s biggest stars including Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion and many more.

NE-YO’s breakout, platinum single “So Sick,” first set the tone for his impending success, which was continued by his first solo album In My Own Words (2006) that debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. NE-YO continued his streak of making hit after hit with his following albums Because of You (2007), Year of the Gentleman (2008), Libra Scale (2010) and most recently R.E.D. (2012). New Jersey natives Samuel Frisch and brothers Jean Paul and Alex Makhlouf, are collectively known as the EDM group Cash Cash. Recently featured in 92.3 AMP Radio’s Emerging Artist Series, their hits include “Take Me Home,” and “Surrender.”

Cushman & Wakefield Theater is an intimate theater within Barclays Center. The theater can accommodate 4,000-7,700 seats and is ideal for theatrical performances, concert artists, music festivals, boxing events, and comedy acts.
