Sports Illustrated 2017 Sportsperson of the Year

Sports Illustrated will host the star-studded 2017 Sportsperson of the Year Celebration at Barclays Center on Tuesday, December 5. This event will honor the year’s biggest names in sports and culture.

2017 Sportsperson of the Year honorees are J.J. Watt and José Altuve. Carlos Beltran will be honored with Sports Illustrated’s Hope Award and Maya Moore wins Sports Illustrated Performer of the Year Award.

SI's Sportsperson of the Year Awards will be telecast for the first time this year. The show will be televised on NBCSN at 8pm ET on December 8 and on Univision Deportes at 8pm ET on December 9.
