Just Brooklyn Prize Inaugural Awards Celebration

Event Information

The Joe and Clara Tsai Foundation’s Social Justice Fund and Brooklyn Community Foundation will honor recipients of the inaugural Just Brooklyn Prize, a new $100,000 annual award to celebrate five outstanding BIPOC champions in the fight for racial justice in Brooklyn, with an award ceremony at Barclays Center on September 18 at 6:00PM.

The ceremony will feature a keynote address by Brooklyn-native Patrick Gaspard, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Center for American Progress, and special presentations from Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, Maya Wiley, Dr. Uche Blackstock and more.

The event is free and open to the public.
